I could have come up with endless ways to improve this layout and it probably would never have been finished but I decided to just let it be, it's probably just fine the way it is. I don't know, I haven't gotten any feedback on it yet when I published it yesterday.
The use of AI seems to cause trouble, I've tried to be as open as possible here about my relationship with AI, because I don't want to fool anyone. I'm just not smart enough to code some JS myself.. that's where AI has helped. Maybe I should make even more precise markings for the layouts that use Javascript created by AI.
Summer has officially begun. ♥ The trip to Helsinki was pleasant in every way. I was afraid beforehand that I would be terribly anxious about the large crowds / public transport, but everything went well.
We went to a restaurant to eat, hung out at my friend's place, went to the gig. Negative played a lot of their most popular songs (singles) but there were a few lovely surprises in the set too. After the gig we went to a bar for beers. Went to bed early, the Flixbus back to my hometown left early.

I started filling out a journal / calendar in Neocities last month but after a couple of weeks I got bored, not really surprising.
There have been good and bad coding days, sometimes I can quickly put together a layout, sometimes nothing seems to work and I lose my nerve. :D I don't know if I can create a summer look for the itinerae or if we'll just stick with this old one. I still like this tho. :3
The "win98" style layout that I've talked about before is one damn project that will last forever. I'm just not happy with it and it's so difficult to edit since it's so "complicated", I wonder if it'll ever be finished. :3
In life outside the computer I've been doing quite well. Nothing too bad, my depression test scores are high, but that's nothing new. I've been outside a lot photographing birds and waking nature, spending time with friends and my boyfriend.
I had a "rehabilitation" period where I met with a physiotherapist, a social worker, a doctor, a psychologist... it was pretty tough but I survived.
Next week I'm going to Helsinki to visit a friend and to a gig of a band I was a fan of in 2003-2007, oh the nostalgia when all the bands from that time are now making a comeback. :')

I went to photograph the icy sea and sunset over the weekend. I could make it a goal to do a longer trip like this every week. I ate candy on the rocks by the sea and froze a bit when the sun went down. I didn't see any birds or other wildlife this time.
I've been coding a "win98" layout and one other cute layout project. I realized that I can't use the original win98 icons / logo, wouldn't that be illegal? Because it's a layout that will be sold on ko-fi and not a personal project? I don't know, but it's kind of eaten up my enthusiasm for getting the layout done.
I'd have to look for alternative icons somewhere. For me, finding graphics is often the hardest part of making layouts.
I updated the layout of itinerae a bit. I added a banner, an external update log, a couple of new things to the sidebar. We'll see later in the spring if I change the colors too.
I'm going on a Turku-Stockholm cruise next weekend, a nice change for everyday life. ^^

I would like to write about my life as accurately as possible, but on the other hand it makes me anxious. I'm afraid that people who know me in real life will find me here and get too much information. I wouldn't mind writing about everything if I was sure that only strangers would read my stuff. :')
I've recently added Itinerae to FB, Instagram, Pinterest, Bluesky and X, so there's a greater chance that someone who knows me will find here.
Normally I hardly ever use facebook or x, now I just wanted to add Itinerae to these too so that I could advertise my paid layouts in as many places as possible. I'm still not in a very good financial situation. Would also be wonderful to be able to save money for a trip abroad.
The extreme cold weather has been going on for weeks now. -_- Spring, please come soon.
I think I got an explanation for the strange lab results. Apparently I have an iron deficiency.
I haven't made much progress with the windows98 layout, I don't know why it feels so difficult to do, compared to other layouts. I'm also slowly starting to code a new layout for Itinerae, I think I need something fresh and green (again). ♥

I'm very happy that the holidays are over and we're heading towards spring. Itinerae is almost two years old and I now have almost 200 followers on Neocities. :') Thank you! Also thanks to everyone who has bought layouts / supported me on Ko-fi!I'm currently working on a windows98 style layout. I'm not sure if it will be free for a limited time, completely free, or paid. It's a bit complicated, I want to be sure that it works properly if I'm going to put it up for sale. :3 Probably takes weeks or even months for me to get this published. :o
I had an ultrasound a couple of days ago. We were just looking for a reason for some strange lab results. Nothing was found though. I'm not sure if I'll get a referral to Hematology yet.
I did a 15 kilometer "hike" after a long time, it felt good. ♥ I spotted mostly familiar / common birds and took pictures of them. One wow moment was when I saw a Eurasian Nuthatch (Sitta Europaea), I'm not sure if that's its official name, in Finnish the name is even more stupid: PÄHKINÄNAKKELI. I'll post pictures of the birds later.
The year has started with freezing cold weather. At its worst, it was -22 degrees celsius. At least there is sunlight and the days are slowly but surely getting longer. Feeling clumsy when I have to wear many layers of clothes and I walk like a penguin.
